David Sparks

David has worked extensively in the theatre including Birmingham, Dundee, Pitlochry, Swansea, York, Wolverhampton. Appearing in The Fan, Epitaph for George Dillon, Jeppe of the Mountain, Way of the World, Hamlet, Twelfth Night, Macbeth, She Stoops to Conquer, The Winslow Boy, Wait Until Dark, The Odd Couple, An Inspector Calls and Oh What a Lovely War. For the RSC he has appeared in Section Nine and West End work includes Time and Time Again - Comedy, A Servant of Two Masters - Albery and Epitaph for George Dillon - Comedy. He was understyd for Michael Gambon in The Unexpected Man at the Duchess, for Ian Holm in The Homecoming at the Comedy Theatre and for Alan Bates in Simply Disconnected at Chichester. Recent West End includes Amy’s View with Felicity Kendal at the Garrick and The Deep Blue Sea with Greta Scacchi and Simon Williams at the Vaudeville. Tours include Lettice and Lovage with Sian Phillips, The Deep Blue Sea with Harriet Walter and Arsenic and Old Lace with Bridget Forsyth and Angela Thorne. Television appearances include The Siegfried Idyll, The First Night of Pygmalion, The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin, Dangerfield, The Last Salute and Days That Shook The World. Films include Savage Messiah, Rose’s Last Train, Whacked and Diagnosis Superstar.
