Alan's previous roles include ‘Petruchio’ in Taming Of The Shrew, ‘Malvolio’ in Twelfth Night, ‘Orlando’ in As You Like it, and the role of ‘Hamlet’ (Cambridge Shakespeare Festival), ‘Macbeth’ (Bridewell Theatre), ‘Richard II’ (Rose Theatre, South Bank), ‘Lucius’ in Titus Andronicus (Edinburgh Festival), ‘Don Pedro’ in Much Ado About Nothing (Courtyard Theatre), and Fagin in Oliver Twist. New writing work includes Steam (Barons Court) and Writers Block (Players Theatre). He is currently touring in Macbeth with TNT Theatre Company in the Far East.
